Early in 2024 InnerTuba received a generous invitation from the Professor Vaclav Hoza Association, to pedal from the UK to perform concerts in the Czech Republic.

Sadly, sometimes, as we all know, events can get in the way of our best intentions. A few factors unrelated to each other conspired to make the journey unviable this Summer. So we are having to postpone. Thanks to all at the Association for putting plans on hold so graciously.

The better news is that InnerTuba is still touring this Summer, now with a much more flexible itinerary. Currently, performances are being organised in England – and InnerTuba will cross the sea – from Harwich – to play in The Netherlands and Belgium too.

Having “vanned” the trike and trailer there, I kicked off the tour from Tideswell, Derbyshire, England, in early May. We enjoyed a couple of house concerts , plus shows at the bike shop, a seniors’ tea club, and at the primary school. I have invitations to return to give further presentations. Thank you Tideswell !

From there, rather than setting out a fixed touring schedule, we will see to where new opportunities, collaborations and invitations lead InnerTuba over the coming months. Watch the story unfold…..
