Andrew Warriner is a conductor, brass band contest adjudicator and fine tuba player. He is the Musical Director of the Morecambe Brass Band Association, based in North West England. Andrew has decided to include the first performance of a substantial new work for solo tuba and band, to be composed by award winning Franner Otter, in a major concert. The work is dedicated to InnerTuba, and will feature programmatic elements around cycling with a tuba in tow! News Update!
Sisters Franner and Sot Otter from Ullapool, Scotland, have offered to lend their musical talents to InnerTuba. Franner specialises in writing and arranging music, and completed her Doctorate thesis in Brass Composition in 2012. Sot is a singer and singing teacher. She directs the Ullapool Community Choir. Sot and Franner have agreed to compose and arrange music for InnerTuba, and are putting their minds to performance opportunites in and around Ullapool – hopefully combining with the choir at some point.
