A big thank you from InnerTuba to Eccles Borough Band for putting on such a great concert last night at the superbly renovated Eccles Town Hall….

I was delighted to have the opportunity to speak to the audience about InnerTuba in the first half, then talk individually about the TubaTrike and TubaTrailer  during the interval …… it sparked alot of interest !

I was one of five instrumental soloists featured in the programme – thanks to Tom Julian, Soprano Cornet, John Anderson, Trombone, Melvin Tay, Euphonium and Matt Shaw, Bass Trombone for their polished performances.

Here’s me playing John Iveson’s super arrangement of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You”. The proof is in the projected backdrop ! Thanks to Keith Davis for sending this email to the InnerTuba facebook page this morning….

“Just got back from Eccles town hall. Wanted to say fantastic bass solo”.  Appreciated Keith !

Musical Director and Compere Dave Hamilton was second to none – a pleasure to work with, and the hall – stage lit to professional standards by cornet player  Mark Alington was packed to overflowing….

Once again – thanks to Eccles Borough Band for this immensely enjoyable opportunity to promote InnerTuba.

Look out for the TubaTrike pedalling North again tomorrow….. 🙂
